We offer LEGO-based activities for adults too! Building with LEGO can be relaxing, inspire creativity and bring teams closer.
For adults, we suggest workshops that have several activities that last about 20 to 45 minutes each. Some of these get participants to work alone and some are in groups or pairs.
We have made our activities part of workshops for adults including;
Here are some brief introductions to some of our most popular activities for adult LEGO workshops;
Who can build the top that can spin the longest?
We cherry-pick a huge variety of Technic LEGO axels, pieces, wheels for you to
choose from to build and experiment with.
Participants build a geared Spinning Top launcher with our instructions. Then everyone designs, tests and re-designs their own designs for spinning tops.
Who can build one that keeps spinning the longest? It is harder than it looks!
The current record is a top that kept spinning for 1 minute, 58 seconds.
All builders build a set size of 2D LEGO art that is combined to make a big art piece. This quilt art can be in a set color scheme or theme. The art quilt will be photographed.
Optionally the co-operative quilt canbe printed on tote bags or other products.
Build your own LEGO patterned tote bag or T-shirt. We teach how to create a seamless repeating pattern with LEGO. Builds are then photographed and bags and shirts will be ordered and delivered in 4-6 weeks
Co-operative LEGO mosaic where all participants build a part of a large mosaic. Each participant is given instructions for a small part of the mosaic. Then the whole mosaic is assembled and displayed.
The mosaic can be a message or logo of a company, a symbol or image.
Ahead of the workshop, we work with you to choose a small LEGO item to build such as a boat, animal, or building. We then create instructions and bring all the bricks & pieces needed for everyone to build it.
During the workshop participants learn the basics of color theory and everyone chooses a color palette. Participants then get their bricks and build their models.
The LEGO models are built and photographed on bright backgrounds. Photos are edited together and final artwork is sent to particpants.
Build a mini-figure apartment building. We provide instructions and pieces to build apartments. The apartments can then be decorated creatively. The apartments are then stacked to create a tall building and is displayed.
Everyone has the same parts. Everyone has the same building prompt.
We pack each box with a variety of classic and fun LEGO bricks & pieces. However,, what each person creates will be indivually unique. The building possibilities are limitless!
Will the creations look anything alike?
Participants have access to a huge amount of LEGO bricks and pieces to creatively build.
We can facilitate creative challenges and engineering challenges within this free-play building time. Alternatively, we can let people mingle, build and chat without structure as a warm-up welcome or a conclustion to a workshop.
We can tailor many of our activities to specific holidays or themes. Halloween, Christmas, Chinese New Year, or any other holidays you have in mind! We can refine color schemes or plan activities to fit your event.
